Ida Adienne Schoverling

Ida Adienne Schoverling of Orange Park, Florida, passed away on the 15 ^th of March 2021 at St Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital, Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on the 18 ^th of February 1951, at Jamacia Hospital, in Jamaica, Queens, New York, to Gustave Edgar Mortensen and Ida Adienne Rodermond. She was married to Rudolph William Schoverling III on the 20 ^th of June 1976 in Bayville, New York, who passed away on the 17 ^th of June 2002.

She studied art history at Sullins College in Bristol, Tennessee. She enjoyed all forms of art and was remarkably accomplished at carving wood, working side by side with her husband Rudy in his cabinet shop. She enjoyed researching genealogy and successfully traced parts of her family line back over a thousand years.

She is survived by her sons, Rudolph and Roger of Orange Park, Florida; Her daughter Sara of Oyster Bay, New York; her stepchildren Kim of Oyster Bay, New York and Scott of San Francisco, CA; her grandchildren, Michael, Kristen, Anthony, Brandon, Alyssa, Devin, Ashley, Madison, Lillian, Ava and Mia; and her great-grandchildren Hunter, Mackenzie, and Abigail.
