Bradford A. Chaffin, 70, passed away Feb. 15, 2010 At McGraw Hospice in Jacksonville, Fl. after a brief illness. Devoted husband, wonderful Father & Grandfather, loving brother, awesome friend to all, an "honorable Godly man." Born San Diego, Ca. 10/3/39, son of (deceased) Orrin Bradford Chaffin and Vera Chaffin, brother to Randy Chaffin (Joan) of El Cajon , Ca. husband and best friend of loving spouse Charon Chaffin, Ponte Vedra, Fl. father of Heidi Brown (Travis) Edmond, Ok. & Heather Chaffin (Austin.Tx.), sons Christian Humphrey (Jennifer) Middletown, N.Y., Michael Herthel (Jacksonville, Fl.) 4 grandchildren, 1 nephew and 1 niece and several great nephews and nieces.

Former Naval Officer, retired realty executive, fisherman extraordinaire, a friend and mentor to all.

A celebration/memorial of Brad's life will be held at Church of Our Savior, 12236 Mandarin RD. Jax. Fl., Thurs., Feb. 18th 2010, 10AM. Reception to follow in Parish Hall.

Family requests donations be made to either Church of Our Savior or The American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
