Vance Tyler Price Sr.

Vance Tyler Price Sr of Jacksonville, Florida passed away at 91 on February 24, 2024.

Born to May Belle Yelvington and Henry Lester Price on July 25, 1932. Vance served in the Army from 1953 and was later honorably discharged in 1955. Vance married Eleanor Jean Hayes on November 17, 1956. Together they had four children, Jackie Lynn, Vance Tyler Jr, Robert David, and Judy Katherine. Vance had three grandchildren Nika Marie Price, Christopher Scott Hoffman, and Luke Tyler Hoffman.

Vance owned Price’s Concrete Services until his retirement at 55 years old. Vance will be remembered for his devotion and love for his marriage and family, and his unwavering faith in the Lord. Vance was an avid hunter and loved bowling. Vance was preceded in death by his daughter Jackie, his parents and five siblings. He is survived by his wife Eleanor (Tots), daughter Judy, sons Vance and Bobby and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on March 8th 6pm-8pm at Trinity Baptist Church

A funeral service will follow on Saturday March 9th at 11am.
