Uneeda Vondell Dibble

Uneeda Vondell Dibble of Jacksonville, Florida, age 89, peacefully passed away Monday August 2, 2021.

Uneeda is survived by two children, Richard Whitmire of Green Cove Springs, Florida and Carol Stovall of Orlando, Florida. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was born October 3, 1931, in Gainesville, Georgia to Hubert and Effie Peck.

She graduated from Airline High School and married Homer Whitmire prior to moving to Jacksonville in 1958. In 1981 Uneeda married Douglas Dibble. She attended Lakewood Methodist Church in Jacksonville.

Uneeda has been retired for many years. Prior to that time, she worked as a bridal consultant for Underwood Jewelers, Belk and various other retailers. After her actual retirement, she continued to work for a multitude of other businesses.  She enjoyed working out at both Curves and LA Fitness up until 2020.

A grave side memorial service will be held at a later date at Airline Baptist church in Gainesville, Georgia.
