Thomas Martin Sullivan, Jr.

September 21, 1942 — November 29, 2024

Thomas Martin Sullivan, Jr., age 82 of Jacksonville, FL passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Inge Wolf Sullivan; two children, Linda Creamons (Joe) and Thomas M Sullivan III (Kim) both of Jacksonville FL. He was the cherished brother of Maureen Sullivan of Jacksonville FL, Patricia Lambert (Douglas) of Ironton OH; Anne Martin (Dave Hanson) of Ponte Vedra Bch FL and Dennis Sullivan (Marian) of Mars PA. He is survived by his five grandchildren: Joseph and Grace Creamons, Emily, Jackson, and Mackenzie Sullivan; and 12 nieces/ nephews, 23 great nieces/nephews and 2 great, great nieces. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Thomas M. Sullivan Sr and Laura E. Sullivan; his sister Judy Lippiatt, her husband Charles Lippiatt, and his son-in-law Joseph K. Creamons III. Following his 1961 high school graduation from Western Hills High School in Cincinnati, OH, Tom joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Stuttgart Germany where he met the love of his life, Inge. They were married in December 1964. Tom returned to civilian life starting his sales career with a large wholesale office stationery and envelope company. Tom’s second love was golf, and he was pleased to make two Hole-In-Ones in his lifetime pursuit of the game. Tom’s life was all about his family, which was always his first priority throughout his life. Spending time coaching his children’s sports, being there for all their key life events and providing support throughout their lives gave him a sense of pride and fulfillment. Teaching his grandchildren how to do repairs around the house and to cook meals by providing cooking classes were projects he was immensely proud of. Tom had a soft spot in his heart for all the family dogs through the years; but Rosie was his special pet. Tom’s Garage-Man Cave was an open door to friends and family alike. He was an easy-going guy with a magnetic personality that drew people in, and he always had a smile and a joke or two when someone dropped by. All were welcome and he enjoyed spending time with everyone – it was just the way he lived. We will all miss Tom tremendously. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held on January 8, 2025, at 1 PM at Chet’s Creek Church, followed by family and friends gathering at 2 PM at Windsor Parke Golf Club. In lieu of flowers, please donate to K9’s For Warriors in Ponte Vedra Beach, @k9sforwarriors.org - 904-686-1956
