Thomas Peter Dvoroznak, 67, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on March 6, 2025. Pete was born on December 17, 1957, in Jacksonville, FL to Mary Lou (Danese) and John “Tex” Dvoroznak. He grew up in a large family and a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL.
He was a graduate of Wolfson High School, class of 1975. After High School, Pete went to work at Jacksonville Shipyards as a carpenter. For the last 30 years he worked as a small engine mechanic at Florida Georgia Distributing.
Pete enjoyed being outdoors with family and friends. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed riding through the hunting club in his 4x4 truck or buggy as well as on the St Johns River in his boat. He was very close with his family.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 23 years, Kathy; mother Mary Lou; brothers Paul and Bobby; sisters Kathaleen, Rose (Clyde) and Donna (Ron); many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father John “Tex”, brother Joe and sister Patty.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the family dock located on Julington Creek at the end of Danbrook Street in Mandarin.
Pete’s warmth, humor, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
