Steven Ockerman

Steven Ockerman passed away September 8, 2018 at St. Vincent’s hospital.  He was born December 6, 1957 in Owosso, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents Marlin and Bobbi Ockerman.

Steven was currently employed by Donovan Marine as a warehouseman and delivery driver.

He never met a stranger and didn’t hesitate to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.  He nourished his soul with fishing, camping, boating and simply being with nature.  He was honest, quiet, loyal and kind with a quirky sense of humor everyone loved.  He had an exceptional knowledge of classic rock and roll. He was a loyal husband, brother and friend and was loved by those who knew him.

Steven is survived by his loving wife Jennifer and his step daughter Alexis Rodenberg.  He is survived by his sisters and brother; Patricia Brown, Susan (Rich) Ripani and Paul Ockerman.  He was an uncle to Scott Brown, Robert (Kim) Hoefling and Jennifer Bachman and great uncle to 11.  He is also survived by his aunts, uncle and cousins.

A memorial service in his honor will be held at a later date.
