Steven James Moore

Steven James Moore, 27, Jacksonville Florida went home to be with His Lord and Savior Thursday, April 11, 2019. He was born to Elisha Ward and the late David Howard Moore, Sr. on December 30, 1991 in Oneonta, New York.  Steven was most recently employed by R and B Surface and Restoration as an Electrician, Jacksonville, Florida.

Steven will always be remembered for his beautiful smile and blue eyes.  Steven was a kind hearted sensitive man with a heart of gold.  He touched the heart of several close family and friends. His daughter Myra was the light of his life.

He was preceded in death by his father David Howard Moore, Sr. July 28, 1996.

Survived by his precious daughter, Myra, mother and stepfather David and Elisha Ward, brothers Christopher (Leslie) Eggleston, Tyler Clair, David Moore, Jr., sisters Katrina Ward, Cassidy (Austin) Wehrman, Jacksonville, Florida. He was also survived by his grandparents, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of Steven's life will be held Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Cedar Bay Baptist Church 11553 North Main St., Jacksonville, Florida, Officiating Pastor Mark Souter of Set Free.
