Stephen A. Eakin

Stephen Anthony Eakin was born on September 6, 1956, in Jacksonville, FL to Margaret and Al Eakin. He graduated from the University of North Florida and recently retired in January 2022 after working his entire career in logistics.

Steve is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret, brother, Andrew, and son, Sean.

He is survived by his wife, daughters, father, siblings, and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Steve was happily married to Melanie Eakin for 44 years at the time of his death and will be remembered for his outstanding work ethic and extreme level of hospitality. He loved music, cooking, the Green Bay Packers and spending time with family and friends. Steve will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

On Friday, May 17th, at 10:30am, services will be held at St. Luke’s Catholic Church. 1606 Blanding Boulevard, Middleburg, FL.
