Shirley Lowney

Shirley Coleman Lowney (65) passed away suddenly at her home in Jacksonville, FL on October 30, 2017. Shirley was born in Jacksonville and lived here all her life. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Rester DeWitt Coleman and Annie Laura Coleman and two of her brothers, Rufus Coleman and Thomas Coleman, and a grandson Julian “Andy“ Perkins. She is survived by her loving husband Ray Lowney, her children, Jennifer Perkins (Dre) and Gary Perkins Jr (Emma) and stepsons Ryan Lowney (Sarah) and Adam Lowney (Beth). She is also survived by her sisters Patricia Salzburg and Laura Meeks, and brothers Jimmy Coleman (Patty) and Alan Coleman (Jodie), all of Jacksonville, FL and brother David Coleman (Natolya) of Seattle, WA and sister Gail Lott (Don) of Jessup, GA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Demetri “Alex“, Alexis, Ashley, Kayla, Jerrod and stepgrands Levi, Caleb, Addilyn and Laurel and many nieces and nephews. Shirley really enjoyed cruising and had been on over twenty cruises all around the Bahamas, the Caribbean and even to Alaska. Shirley was a wonderful wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister and friend who was deeply loved and will be missed by her entire family. A private family service will be held at a later date.
