Shirley H. Hugo

Shirley H. Hugo, 83, of Jacksonville, Florida, died at Taylor Care Center from natural causes on November 12, 2024.

She was born in Jacksonville in 1941 to Shirley Obie Hayes and Elizabeth A. Hayes. She graduated from Landon High School.

She was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida. She lived her life taking care of others and enjoyed every moment.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Charles P. Hugo, her mother, her father, and her sister Marsha H. Judd. She is survived by her sister Sarah Jolicoeur (Ron), her nephew Charlie Nuzum (Lacy and babies), her niece Lisa Wiesen (Elizabeth and Michael), and her stepdaughter Brandon Schmidt (Joey and Evin).

A memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
