Sandra Marie Hertzberg

Sandra Marie Hertzberg, 62, just made Heaven even sweeter. She passed away at home in Jacksonville, FL on October 9, 2017. Sandy was born in Rockford, Il to Marvin E. Holmgren and Rosalie M. (Mailloux) and grew up in Manitowoc, Wi. There she met her husband Greg of 39 years and migrated south to Jacksonville. Here she raised her family at Mandarin Christian Church, worked in the student loan business, and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors of North Florida. Sandy enjoyed planning many family vacations throughout the US with her family and a few abroad with her husband. She is survived by her husband Gregory Hertzberg, 2 children, Aimee Birkholz (Brian), Aaron Hertzberg (Amy), and 5 grandchildren (Teagan, Leighton, Blake, Laurel, Avery). Her smile, laughter, and warm loving heart will be truly missed. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northeast Florida Community Hospice.
