Russell Waldo Thresher Iii

Russell W. Thresher III, 64, of St. Johns County, Florida, passed away on July 13, 2020. Born in Rammstein, Germany, Russ was preceded in death by his parents, Audrey and Col. Russell W. Thresher Jr. Russ graduated from the University of Florida and was a member of Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. In the workforce, Russ enjoyed successful careers as a pharmaceutical Rep., a realtor with ReMax realty and in his later years, Fidelity Investments. He was proud to be a Big Brother in Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, he was past president of the Broward County Gator Club and was a past member of our local Rotary chapter.

Russ was a wonderful husband, devoted father, loyal friend and animal lover. He is survived by his wife Susan and their daughter and son; his sisters Marianne (Steve) Newby of AZ, Lori Manieri of CA, and Kim Thresher of TN, as well as his nieces and nephews.
