Rudolph “Rudy” A. Rundio Jr.

Rudy, 72, Passed away Monday April 15, 2019 at St. Vincent’s Clay County Hospital in comfort surrounded by his family.

Born February 24, 1947 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Rudy Resided in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey until he and his family moved to Middleburg, Florida in 1989.

Rudy attended St. Nicholas Grammar school and graduated from St. Joseph High school, moving on to graduate from Atlantic County Community College.

Rudy was pre-deceased by his parents, Rudolph Sr., and Rita Rundio, his mother-in-law Florence Parry and his brother-in-law Robert E. Parry Jr.

Rudy is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Darlene. Two sons, Derek Rundio (Vera) in Tennessee, Bryan Rundio in Tampa, FL and a daughter Robyn L. Ondish in Middleburg, FL. He is also survived by his most Cherished six grandchildren: Courtney Rae Bynum (Dakota), Derek F. Rundio Jr. (Sara Beth), Cody Rundio, Rachel Rundio, Reagan Ondish and Ryder Ondish. Also, by his twin brothers Randy (Margie) and Ronnie (Cheryl) Rundio. Many nieces and nephews, and his tax clients, who called him “The Tax Man” who were more family to him than just clients.

Rudy was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather, His family always came first to him. He loved taking all of his grandchildren on a week vacation every year. He always had time for his entire family above everything else, family is what Rudy lived for. We will carry his love and memory in our hearts forever.

A Celebration of Rudy’s life will be held on Monday April 22 ^nd at 5:30 pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 20 Cinnamon Street Middleburg, FL 32068
