It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Rose Frances Fernando, 64 of Jacksonville Florida on Wednesday July 24, 2024, of natural causes. Rose was born on August 3, 1959, to Abraham and Marilyn in Los Angeles, California then moved and lived in New York where she met Frank Quinteros with whom she spent countless years as husband and friend.
Rose is survived by her daughter Caryn Allison whom she loved dearly and whose presence she missed. She would often remember the happiness of her smile, the hugs they shared and when she would call out for her! Ma! when she wanted to get her attention. She would also share the emptiness she felt when Caryn moved away to become an adult, and the great pride and joy in celebrating her achievements, newfound independence, and new chapters of life embarked on.
Ma, Rose, Rosita, Rochela will be missed as she has left a huge gap in our hearts, lots of beautiful memories and the gift of the spiritual act of giving. A memorial will be held in her honor. Left to celebrate her life and mourn her passing are siblings Adam, Donna, Sari, Tina, Michael and Debbie, her friends and extended family.
Rose was very passionate and diligent, loved sharing gifts with family and the needy, she wrote and spoke out and was clear of her position in this world and she let her opinions and knowledge be known. A love of nature and animals moved her to capture pictures of flowers and her cats whose likeness was included in albums, walls and phones, these will be shared for all to see.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to a favorite charity in help of humans, animals and nature - this would make her happy. She is now in the company of loved ones and in the embrace of the Lord.
