Mr. Ronald "Ron" James LaDue Sr., age 53, passed away, with his loved ones by his side on Friday April 26th, 2024, in his Florida home after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born and raised in Utica, NY on August 20th, 1970, and was the youngest of three.
Growing up, Ron enjoyed many outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and four wheeling. He held various construction, welding, and home renovations positions, pouring his energy and dedication into each opportunity. He was later introduced to the battery business at C&D Technologies where he had a successful career. Ron possessed an unparalleled work ethic that led him to start his own company, Consolidated Home Improvements. Through his unwavering dedication, his company's success was sustained for nearly a decade before he transitioned into his recent position as a Regional Manager of Florida and the Caribbean with Schluter-Systems.
During Ron's time, he found his greatest joy aboard his boat, basking in moments of fishing or leisurely cruising the ocean alongside his family and friends, as well as going on car rides with his dogs. He had a passion for the "three Fs of life": family, friends, and fishing. During life's chaos, he never forgot to indulge in its simplest joys, such as savoring a meticulously crafted old-fashioned cocktail, admiring the serene beauty of a sunset, or reveling in the excitement of a fish on the line.
Ron was predeceased by his loving mother Marie Antonia "Toni" (Leone) Guzski. Father surviving Ronald Jubis. He is survived by his loving wife Jennifer LaDue whom he married in September 2002 and his three loving children; Ronald "Ronnie" LaDue Jr., Chelsea "Chels" Berry and Laci "Lace" LaDue; his sister Bridget (LaDue) Decker; brother Frank LaDue; nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends. He was a loving father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend.
He dedicated himself tirelessly to providing for his family, ensuring their every need was met, and going above and beyond to ensure their well-being, he was the type of father who would get manicures and pedicures with his daughters no hesitation . He consistently affirmed that true happiness cannot be purchased, and his wisdom rings true. As the warm morning winds usher in a new day and the tranquil waters glisten under the rising sun, take solace in knowing he remains by our side. He lived, he fought, and he passed but the saying is legends never die.
As we carry his memory forward, may the love for Ron transcend in this life and echo through eternity. We will continue to remember Ronald James LaDue Sr in this life and the next. He is deeply loved and sorely missed; may he find eternal peace.
