Robert E Ehrenberg

April 26, 1941 — May 20, 2023

Robert (Bob) passed away peacefully Saturday evening. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Edward and Mildred Ehrenberg.  He is survived by his wife Darleen, sons Michael and Timothy, grandchildren Kendra and Nicholas, and his sister Sandra Montelone. He attended Luther North High School where he played the saxophone in their marching band and later attended Concordia College in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Bob was a Diehard Cub Fan and enjoyed attending their baseball games at Wrigley Field, as well as watching the games on TV after moving to Florida.  One of his happiest days was when the Cubs won the World Series in 2016.

Bob was an animal lover and served on the board of the Clay Humane (animal clinic) in Orange Park for over 25 years and was also a volunteer for Community Hospice.  He was a board member of the Rick Wilkins Foundation (charitable organization) from 2009 through 2011.

Aside from his love of the Cubs and animals, he was a “MOPAR” man, enjoyed working on restoring several antique cars. For many years he would set up his Christmas Village in his garage allowing the neighbors to share in his joy of Christmas.

He will truly be missed by his extended family and all those who have known him.
