Robert William Cooper

Robert William Cooper, 81, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2020.

Bob will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.  He leaves his wife of almost 60 years, Jean R.  Cooper, his son, Steven Cooper, his daughters, Kara Reagin and Amanda Teal, six grandchildren (James, Camille, Evan, Allison, Mallory, and Cooper), his sister, Margaret Baer, and many wonderful nieces and nephews. He was a very important person in many of our lives and will be missed very much.

Robert, son of Reuben Roy Cooper Sr. and Kara Foreman, was born in Mobile, Alabama on December 9th, 1938. “Bobby” was the baby of seven brothers and sisters.  They were a very close family that cared deeply for each other.

A celebration of life in his honor will be held in the future at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you share a story about Bob with the family.  If you know my Dad, you know he always loved a great story.
