Our beloved “Ricky” has been called home.  He was born in Duval County FL and lived in Clay County FL for all his life. He was Valedictorian of his graduating Bannerman class at Fleming Island High School. Ricky received a recent award from CRM in Jacksonville for being the most helpful to others.  He led a joyful life and always loved helping others. He always tried to make people laugh and loved to joke around. He was such a happy person who enjoyed working with his hands, building things and drawing. He loved his family; parents Tommie Jo “TJ” Higginbotham and Richard Lee Higginbotham II; sisters Mary Elizabeth and Hattie Marie; son Isaac Elijah and daughter Hadley Grace. Ricky worked for Clay Insulation in Green Cove Springs FL He loved his job, and he was so happy to go to work. He also enjoyed writing song lyrics and rap music.  He will be dearly missed. Our Love will never die, Time will remove all things but Love and Truth and the Memories we hold close in our hearts. A Memorial Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday the 10 ^th at River Christian Church (RCC) 5900 US Highway 17, Fleming Island FL 32003 at 11:00 am. Pastor Nathan Freeman officiating.
