Ralph Wagner

Ralph Wagner, age 79, passed away on April 10, 2024, at Community Hospice in Jacksonville, FL. Ralph was born on January 6, 1945, in Libertyville, IL, the son of Raymond and Ethel Wagner.

Ralph was a law enforcement officer for over 20 years, serving on the Buffalo Grove, IL Police Department and Juneau County, WI Sheriff’s Office. Ralph enjoyed cooking and photography, and after retiring from law enforcement he traveled the country in his travel trailer for many years until settling in Florida near his daughters.

Family and friends are invited to enjoy an afternoon of pizza, beer, and sharing memories of Ralph at Ron Wagner’s residence in Wonder Lake, IL on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Ralph was a simple, no-frills kind of man, and would appreciate and approve of this in celebration of his life.

Ralph is survived by his children Lori Wagner of Tampa, FL & Jennifer Finchem (Spencer) of St. Augustine, FL, siblings Ronald Wagner of Wonder Lake, IL & Richard Wagner of Waupaca, WI, 5 grandchildren, 1 niece, and 5 nephews. Ralph was preceded in death by his brother Roger Wagner and sister Rita Anderson.
