Perry Justin Wright was born Thursday January 2, 1969, and was called home on Friday September 16, 2022, he was 53 years young. Perry is survived by a large and loving family spanning several generations and spread across the United States.
First and foremost, he is survived by his Mom, Candice Perry of Fruit Cove FL, who was the love of his life and he was hers.
Perry is also survived by his father, Wayne Wright of Knoxville TN and his stepfather, Steve Collier, of Walland TN;
his “baby” sister and brother, Sagein and Fred Pacifico of Kennewick WA; his sister Onda Willert of Davenport IA;
his nieces, Hyojung Choi of Saint John’s FL, Alexia and Aubrey Williams of Jacksonville FL, Kayleigh, Chelsea, Carly and nephew Joey all of Quad Cities IA;
his always-present Uncles Gregory of Tampa FL, Leland and Charlie of Richmond, MA;
Aunts and Uncles Toby and Roland Curtis of Rathdrum ID, Betty and Buddy Perry of Locust Grove VA, Elizabeth and Wesley Ripley of Gloucester VA, Elston Perry of Newport News VA, Jack and Sharon Wright of Athens OH, and Kathy Stein of Lexington KY;
Cousins Susan and Richard Garcia of Oakland CA, Jeff and Jane Curtis of Atascadero CA, Balinda Lehan of Greeneville TN, Sidney Ripley of Gloucester VA, Hadley and Adam Parritz, Scooter and Kelly Stein, and Wade Hancock all of Lexington KY.
Perry was a light to everyone who was lucky enough to have met him – he was a lover of family, he was an animal lover but really loved and cared for his puppies Valary, Dunker and the late Caezar, he was a frequent swimmer with the dolphins, he idolized Michael Jackson and was fond of Prince, he had an insatiable appetite for pizza and Pepsi, he loved cookouts and thoroughly enjoyed hamburgers, he enjoyed rocking out to Kiss and even met Gene Simmons once, he was a master with the air-guitar, he loved to tease his nieces but hated to be tickled, Jaws and its “duuunn dunn…duuuunnnn duun…” always made him smile, he had a mind like a steel trap, was quick witted and was the king of the one-liners, he had crushes on Hannah Montana, Buffy, and Salena Gomez, he had the amazing ability to find humor in any situation, he was a US traveler and a fan of the Grand Canyon, he was the biggest fan of Superman, Spiderman, Batman and the Incredible Hulk as well as Christopher Reeves and David Banner, he was sincere and genuine, he loved to show off both his muscles when flexing like the Hulk and his moustache whenever he chose to grow one, as you read through this list you’d probably come to the same conclusion that he would – Holy Shit, that is one cool dude!
