Patricia “Pat” Pisorchik
January 7th, 1942 – January 9th, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia “Pat” Pisorchik. Cheering for her beloved Dallas Cowboys until the very end, she peacefully departed this world on Tuesday, January 9th, 2024.
A cherished mother, treasured Grammy and wonderful friend to so many, Pat’s vibrant spirit and quick wit touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly, son Chad, daughter-in-law Lisa, daughter Janel and her grandchildren Andrew and Nicholas.
Anyone who had the honor of knowing Pat knew that she was an exceptional person. She was smart, funny, direct, and driven. Her strength and courage were never-ending. She overcame many obstacles and her determination to provide for her children was her sole focus. She was fiercely independent and truly a force of nature.
She had a special connection with all dogs and spending time with them brought her so much joy. With her gentle yet mighty personality they immediately listened and loved her.
Pat loved flowers and could make anything grow. Her thumb was beyond green and the pleasure she took from bringing a plant or flower back to life was something to see.
She was most comfortable when her toes were in the sand. She spent her retired years enjoying the Delaware beaches with her grandchildren and most recently in Florida with her daughter. The sound of the ocean brought her the peace she so deserved.
Pat lived her life putting others first, treating all people with respect and knowing that kindness is above all else. As you read this, please remember two of her favorite sayings, “All things happen for a reason” and “This too shall pass”. Take ease in knowing there is an angel in heaven looking down on you.
Since Pat touched so many people in so many different places, the family will not be holding a traditional service. They ask you to visit www.adignifiedalternative.net and leave a favorite story, picture or message. They hope everyone will take great comfort in reading each message.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate in her honor to the Jacksonville Humane Society . Please include the recipient email [email protected] when making your donation.
