Pamela Ann Patton

September 13, 1956 — April 26, 2021

Pamela Ann Patton (Pam) of Jacksonville, Florida entered into rest on April 26, 2021 at 64 years of age. She was born in South Bend, Indiana on September 13, 1956 and grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Pam was an Executive Legal Assistant at Constangy, Brooks, Smith & Prophete, LLP to two Principal Attorneys (2 Managing Members) and two Associates for 19 years specializing in labor and employment law in Jacksonville, FL and worked for 16 years in West Palm Beach, FL at Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. Engineers, as Planners Administrative Assistant to Sr. Vice Pres./Sr. Principal Partner writing and negotiating contracts, project management, engineering intern duties, client contact, and correspondence composition report generation, as an Airport Engineering Assistant.

Pam was an avid reader, read all the classics, and had a passion for learning especially when it came to literature, history, physics and biology. She had a heart toward sharing her faith in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and helping others find faith in Him and grow in their walk with Him. She loved America and respected the founding principles and Constitution. Nothing delighted her more than driving her Jeep, a day spent boating on the ocean, swimming and snorkeling, surrounded by family. She loved animals, especially horses and dogs, and going to the zoo, and taking long walks on the beach. She especially loved her Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier, Mozart. Pam loved to cook and had a taste for seafood and Italian food, and enjoyed her steaks rare, or as she always liked to say "mooing." She had beautiful green eyes, a lovely smile, and a great sense of humor. She will be remembered for her unconditional love for others, her love of Jesus, her words that rang with wisdom, and her relentless passion to learn...and that smile. I will never forget her smile.  She was my soulmate, my partner, my friend, and my wife. I will miss her always. Pam and Derek attended Christ's Church in Jacksonville FL.

She was predeceased by her father and mother, Edward and Dorothy Zuk, and her twin brother, Terry Zuk, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Donald B. Patton and Mary E. Patton.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years, Derek Patton; her two daughters Corinne (Mark) Gardner along with her grandson Ashton, and Lisa (Nathan) Lewis.  Also, by her sister-in-laws Donna Davis, and Lori Patton, and brother-in-laws Brant Patton and Barry Patton.
