Pamela Sue Alderman

Pamela Alderman was born on April 2, 1967 in Millersburg, OH to Raymond and Kaoru Alderman. Though we have already said our goodbyes to Raymond, her mother and her brother, Vincent, are still with us today.

After living in Ohio and Japan, she spent her formative years in Chula Vista, CA. It was here on June 17, 1985 that she gave birth to her only child, her daughter, Rachel. Being a young mother was not easy, but she had two things to support her - ambition and a strong family. She was able to secure a job with the Department of the Navy and rose through their civilian ranks with new promotions in Virginia and Florida before transferring back to California. Ultimately though, she returned to her favorite home in Florida. It was in Florida where she passed.

While she was notoriously stubborn, Pamela cared deeply for her family and friends. She always offered her wholehearted support and guidance. Perhaps though, her favorite people in her life were her grandchildren, Coraline and Cole. Affectionately known as her “grands”, their big personalities provided never-ending entertainment and were a source of pride for her. While we will never know for certain what Pamela considers her greatest accomplishment, we can assume that it’s the legacy and the path she forged for her daughter and grands.
