Nancy Louise Briggeman

Our dear mother, Nancy Louise (nee Williams) Briggeman, 92, went home to her Lord and Savior on November 6, 2022.

She was born to the late Samuel and Lillian Williams on February 17,1930 in Dearborn, Michigan.  Nancy graduated from Hart High School in 1948. Upon graduation she moved to Chicago and graduated from Patricia Stevens modeling school and in addition began work at a data entry company.

She married the late Joseph Briggeman in 1952.  They lived together in Addison, Illinois, outside Chicago for 18 years.  There she was an active member of the Addison Women’s Club.  They relocated to Stone Mountain, Georgia, outside Atlanta and resided there for 15 years.  Upon retirement they settled in Mears, Michigan returning to the family home.  There she was an active member of the Mears Methodist Church.

Nancy was an exceptional wife, mother, daughter, and aunt.  Her family was her world, and we were blessed to have her.  She knew everyone’s favorite dishes and loved preparing them.  In her younger years she and her late husband loved to host parties and family reunions.  They knew how to make life a joy.

Nancy is survived by her daughters; Denise Cihlar (Thomas), Christie Welch; and son Stephen Briggeman (Melissa).  She also cherished her 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held in the summer of 2023 in Michigan.  She will always be in our hearts.
