Mary Emily Loiselle, 71, of Jacksonville Beach, Florida passed away on November 27 th peacefully listening to the Sunday service online from St. Paul’s Anglican Church. It was the first Sunday of advent which is the beginning of the spiritual year of the church and for her, the beginning of her heavenly life. Advent brings Hope, Love, Peace and Joy to the forefront of our minds and Emily will forever be associated with these attributes.

Her younger siblings Marc, Chris and Jan would learn of her caring nature as each of them would find her a comfort in their times of need.

Emily Graduated Valedictorian of Fairhope High School in Fairhope, Alabama in 1969. After a few years of college she found herself in New Orleans. Working as a waitress in a piano bar in the early 1970s, she met her beloved husband Bob Loiselle, a piano player, father of three and an incredible human being. They shared a love of crossword puzzles and before too long, they were married and set out on the beginning of a joyous life together. They welcomed two children, Rob and Michelle, into this world and together had many adventures. Dina, Bo and Holly, Bob’s three kids would join them in Fairhope as well before finding their ways to their own journeys.

After living in Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, and Kansas, they finally found their way to Annapolis, Maryland where she worked as a seamstress in the boating industry among other jobs until she was able to recognize her dream of working at a library. She loved to read and share her love of information and books with others. She worked for many years for Anne Arundel Public Library in Severna Park and Annapolis, Maryland until she retired to Jacksonville Beach, Florida.

During their stay in Annapolis, her husband Bob, after studying for Holy Orders eventually became a Bishop in the Anglican Church and the two of them created a loving and wonderful community at St. Paul’s.  She devoted herself to the church and to being by his side as the leader of fellowship, music and a joyous love of life.

She will be remembered for her devotion to her husband of 50 years, her selfless caring for others, her faith in God and her strength and courage in her final fight with Lymphoma.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mada and William & three of her siblings: Jan, Lynn and Marc.

She is survived by her adoring husband, Bob, her two children Rob and Michelle, her younger brother, Chris and her amazing grandchildren.
