Maria Patricia Tojeiro

Maria Patricia Tojeiro was 67 years old and lived in Jacksonville, FL. She went to heaven on December 23, 2019. Born to William Henry Gonzalez and Angela Victoria Sosa on September 15, 1952 in Panama City, Republic of Panama. After graduating high school Patricia began her federal service with the Department of Defense on May 1, 1981 in the Panama Canal Zone. She began her Coast Guard career on November 15, 1988 at the Civil Engineering Unit Miami. In 1996 she transferred to the Civil Engineering Unit Providence. In the summer of 1999, she transferred to the Facilities Design and Construction Center in Norfolk, Virginia and retired after 35 years of service on October 31, 2016. She was loved and respected by her colleagues and staff.

Patricia and Edwards Douglas Tojeiro were married on January 6, 1977. They had 3 beautiful children Douglas, Angela & Irene. On their 40 ^th wedding anniversary they were married through the Catholic Church. Patricia loved her role as a dedicated mother. She treasured all the moments with her husband, children and family.

Patricia lived a full life; she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to cook, dance, listen to music, she loved sports, and she loved to travel and talk about her beloved Panama. Patricia always wore lipstick, even during her cancer treatments. She is survived by her husband and children.
