Maria Angelica “Chicky” Arbelo, Age 66, Jacksonville, Fl. Made her transition to be with the Lord on Easter Sunday April 17, 2022. Maria was born on March 14, 1956, in Bronx, NY the first of six children to Wilfredo And Maria (Leon) Ramirez. She graduated from Miami Central high school. She had over 15 years of employment with UF Health/Shands. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Arbelo and father Wilfredo Ramirez. She is survived by her children, Wilfredo Arbelo (Brianne Lee) and Marissa Arbelo (Eddie Griffin); four grandchildren, Kiley McCabe, Daphne Arbelo, Dezi Arbelo and Andres Griffin; Her mother Maria (Leon) Ramirez and siblings JoAnn Ramirez, John Ramirez, Sylvia Ramirez, Edward Ramirez, and Joseph Ramirez. Maria was a long time parishioner at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and devout to praying the rosary. Memorial mass will be held at 11 am Friday, April 29th, 2022 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, 1773 Blanding Boulevard, Jacksonville, Fl. 32210 with Father Pradeep Aerthayil concelebrant. Reception to follow in church hall.
