Margaret "Maggie" Elizabeth Haynes

June 10, 1948 — June 8, 2023

On June 8th, 2023, Margaret “Maggie” Elizabeth Haynes passed away peacefully in Jacksonville Florida at the age of 74.  She was born June 10th, 1948, in Calhoun County, Alabama to J.T. Haynes and Vera Fondren.

Her professional career was varied and successful.  Beginning with clerical work in law, she quickly discovered Sales and thrived in environments that rewarded her strong communication skills and work ethic.  “Life is too short for mediocre performance”, she would say.  Her clients benefited from this philosophy and often became friends which led to more referrals and even greater success.

In retirement, Maggie showed her adventurous spirit by touring America in her Iconic Airstream accompanied always by Izzy, her faithful Westie.  She will be remembered for her uniquely Southern style, her generosity, and her legendary parties which she used to celebrate her loved one’s accomplishments big and small.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Curtis Eugene Haynes and her sister, Annie Ruth Jones.  She is survived by her sister Johnnie Thelma Haynes, her two children Theodore and Derek, and her six grandchildren.

Maggie leaves behind a legacy of strong family-values and a vast community of friends and satisfied former-clients.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Florida in July and Arizona in August at a time and place to be determined.  Please reach out to her family at [email protected] for details.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider giving to Danielkids, a charity that was close to Maggie’s heart.  You can find them online at [email protected] or call 904-296-1055.
