Lynn Hamilton Riggs Irwin

Lynn Hamilton Riggs Irwin, of Graysville, Al, passed away on February 17 ^th 2023, after a brief illness while visiting her home town, in Jacksonville Fl.

Lynn was born on February 3 ^rd 1959 in Richmond Virginia.  Lynn and her family moved to Jacksonville in 1967.   After Lynn graduated from Terry Parker High School and FSCJ she had a long career with AT&T and eventually moved to Alabama where she married her husband Joe Irwin of 32 years.  Lynn and Joe have one son Joseph Irwin Jr.

Lynn retired in 2013  from AT&T after 29 years of service.  She assumed co-ownership of her mother’s nanny service, Rent a Nanny after Penny’s passing in 2015.

Lynn was predeceased by her parents, Frank Riggs & Penny Meeks. She is survived by her husband, Joe, her son Joseph (Emily), two grandchildren Liam and Levi, her sister Dede Riggs, Tanya Kelch her brother Chuck Riggs, cousins George Riggs ( Margarita)  Nick Riggs  and her dear friends Donna and Mike Powell. Lynn was loved by many and still had close relationships with many childhood friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Christ Church, 400 San Juan Drive, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082, on March 17 ^th at 11 am.

A light lunch and fellowship will be held in the church reception area immediately following the service.

There will also be a celebration of Lynn's wonderful life in Alabama, at a later date, to be determined.
