Lisa Anne Pitre

Mrs. Lisa Anne Pitre (53 y.o.), daughter of Peter John Correnty and late Barbara Jean Correnty, was born April 15 ^th 1968 in Norwalk, Connecticut. She passed away on April 8 ^th 2022, surrounded by family, after a 3 year battle with aggressive breast cancer. She is survived by father, Peter Correnty, husband, John Pitre, daughter, Alyssa Pitre, son, Nicholas Pitre, brothers, Peter and Mike Correnty, and a sister, Laura Ballew. She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Correnty (1931-2021).

She attended the public schools of Norwalk, Connecticut, and graduated from Brien McMahon High School in 1986. She went on to attend Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland, to receive a Bachelors of Arts and a Masters in Speech-Language Pathology.

Lisa was a manager of the Speech-Language Department of the Mayo Clinic from 1991 – 2022. She married John Pitre in 1994, and celebrated 27 wonderful years of marriage, that produced two children.

Her hobbies included going to Tampa Bay Rays and Lightning games with her husband and spending time at her children’s sporting events. Lisa was a devout Catholic and took joy in the blessings from Our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Lisa will be forever remembered by her curly hair, bright smile, and beautiful high heels. Everyone who met her, instantly fell for her charm and work ethic, as she was always a joy to be around.

There will be a memorial service held in her hometown of Norwalk, Connecticut, on Saturday, April 23 ^rd 2022 at 10:30am. A memorial service in Jacksonville, Florida, is yet to be announced.
