Linda was a generous woman who always put everyone in front of herself. She loved to talk with family and friends on a daily basis. She enjoyed watching Little House on the Prairie and Monk on TV. She will be remembered for the love she had for her grandchildren. Meme was one of the best grandmothers they could ever ask for. Her grandkids never heard the word NO. She would drop and run them or bring them whatever they wanted. She quit her job to be with them all day.
Linda attended her TOPS club every Tuesday for over 20 years. They were like family to her. She loved them and was always talking about events happening in the club. She also enjoyed her LA Fitness water aerobics friends, where she attended class Monday – Friday for 19 years. She would not bend on missing these two clubs; she enjoyed them that much. You could always find her in her yard messing with her flowers while watching her birds come for food and water. She enjoyed sitting in her yard while brushing her beloved dogs, who were her world.
Linda attended Evangel Temple Assembly God Church, raising her kids and grandkids there for over 30 years. She was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and would always walk by faith. She loved to listen to gospel music; you would always hear it playing no matter where you found her, her car, her room, or even her hospital bed. Her favorite scripture was "I can do all things through Christ," Philippians 4:13. Her favorite song was "The Old Rugged Cross." Evangel Temple is where she met her long-life best friend, Joe Nettles, over 35 years ago. She loved Joe and his wife Dorothy like no other. She always said they were family to her.
May Linda Wilson Beamon's soul rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who know her. A Dignified Alternative –Hatcher Cremations in Jacksonville, FL, will oversee her cremation. Per Linda's request, no services will be held.
