Laurie was the owner of CompuType Graphics and Design. After reinventing herself several times, she became a Realtor, until her retirement in 2014.

Laurie enjoyed traveling, especially to New York City in December, so she could marvel at the wonderous Christmas decorations and attend plays.
She liked to kayak, go boating with friends, and visit the beach. She also enjoyed baking her delicious banana nut bread and blueberry muffins, which she happily shared with a few special friends.
Most of all, she loved spending time with her granddaughters, especially when they were younger. She never missed an opportunity to talk about them and their achievements.
She is survived by her parents, Herbert and Doreen Blake of Portland, ME; daughters Kimberly Miller (Keith) of Glen Burnie, MD, Kelli Anderson ( Brian) and granddaughters Kaylee Anderson and Ashlee Anderson of Jacksonville; her life-partner Gigi Morrison also of Jacksonville; Four sisters and one brother and many caring friends.
Laurie will be remembered for her unique and lively spirit and for her ability to " think outside the box " which in reality never existed for her. " Laurie Logic, " prevailed, instead.
She was loved and will be dearly missed.
