Larry Wayne Landrum was a vivacious and spirited individual, known for his lighthearted nature and captivating charm. He had the unique ability to make people laugh without their knowing it was coming. His authenticity in everything he did, from music to love, made him stand out and be remembered.


Larry Landrum was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia. He graduated from Academy of Richmond County. Larry's unparalleled work ethic became the cornerstone of his professional journey, dedicating a significant portion of his life to Delta Airlines and the world of radio broadcasting. Beyond his impressive career accomplishments, Larry was known for his unwavering passion for music, sharing inspiration and joy in the timeless melodies of legendary bands and artists such as The Beatles, Motown, and the iconic Elvis Presley.


On September 7th, 2023, Larry Wayne Landrum passed away peacefully. He was preceded in death by his parents, Faye Peacock Landrum and Whitfield Landrum, Jr. Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Gerri Landrum, his brother Michael Landrum, his children Drew Landrum (Sarah), Ashley Landrum White, Stephanie Sutton (Paul), Christopher Immel (Elizabeth), Cory Immel (Taylor), and Courtney Perkins (Daniel). Larry also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Lucas White, Lena White, Summit Landrum, Forrest Landrum, Sheppard Landrum, Carson Immel, Ashton Immel, and Isaac Immel.


The world has lost a vibrant soul who touched the lives of those around him deeply. He will be missed and remembered fondly by everyone he has left behind.


A memorial service to celebrate Larry's life will be held on Wednesday, September 13th at 10:30am at Stevens Creek Church in Augusta, Georgia (600 Stevens Creek Road, Augusta, GA 30907). All are welcome to come and join together in remembering Larry Wayne Landrum's legacy.
