Larry A. Gilchrist

Larry A. Gilchrist, 76, of Jacksonville, FL passed away March 27, 2018. He was born to parents Forest and Phyllis Gilchrist in Johnstown, OH on August 31, 1941. He graduated from Monroe High School and was self-employed at L&L Pilot Car Services. Mr. Gilchrist was a member of Moose Lodge #455 and had a passion for cars and Whataburger breakfast. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Mr. Gilchrist was predeceased by his parents and his wife of 40 years, Linda I. Gilchrist. Survivors include his children; Larry Gilchrist (Pam), Dale Gilchrist (Alison), Tammy Chancey (Ray) and Laura Martin (Scott); grandchildren, Dena, Jesse, Danielle, Amanda, Kayla, Brieanna, Gary, Baylee, Bubba and Nikki as well as several great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. April 1, 2018 at the Moose Lodge #455, 3834 Southside Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32216. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
