Kenneth Allen Byrd (73) of Middleburg, FL passed away on May 2, 2018. He was born on August 17, 1944 in Johnson City, TN. Ken was the son of the late Floyd K. Byrd & Greta O. (Broyles) of Jonesbough, TN. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Patricia (Chapell), his daughters Lisa Eberhardt (George) & Donna Ritch (Tim), 2 grand daughters Kayla Turner (William) & Ashley Eberhardt, 3 grandsons Wyatt, Coleton & Cruse, 2 step grand daughters Isabel & Evelyn Ritch. He was also a great grandpa to Rylee & Mayson Turner. Kenneth served & retired after 20 years in the US Navy as a Chief Petty Officer. He was a avid fisherman and pilot. He was part of several car clubs & showed his 1965 Mustang regularly where he won over 100 trophies. Kenneth leaves behind many friends & family members, who he loved. He always had a joke or funny story for anyone who would listen. He will be missed by many.
