Joyce Dorien Adams

Joyce Dorien Adams age 57 of Jacksonville Florida passed away May 28, 2020.

The only daughter of Reginald E and Joyce Dorien White Adams, she was born in Greenridge New Jersey on October 26, 1962 and was the youngest of four children. she graduated from Florida A&M University with a Bachelors degree in Architecture, became licensed with the State of Florida in 2001 and was employed by the Department of the Navy.

She and her long time boyfriend Sean Roberts were married in 2020 by Pastor Steve DeSanto

of Celebration Lutheran Church in St. Johns Florida where she enjoyed volunteering her time for

the church. She also dedicated her time to various other charities including the Salvation Army.

She had a zest for life and enjoyed many hobbies including Women’s fashion design, tennis, running, sporting clay/skeet shooting, camping, hiking and gardening.

She will be remembered for many things such as her kindness, beauty, heart, laughter, style and willingness to help others but most of all she will be remembered for always being a lady.

She is proceeded in death by her mother and father and her three brothers, Reginald, Dwayne and Todd Adams and is survived by her husband Sean Roberts of Jacksonville Florida.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 13 ^th from 4pm to 8pm at her home located at 2833 Clairboro Road, Jacksonville Fl. 32223. This will be a casual, open house affair.
