John Frederick Zile, 71, of Jacksonville Florida, passed away August 11, 2021, surrounded by his family.
John was born February 6, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio. John graduated from Paxon Senior High School in 1970. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church. He retired from Flint Ink Corp. after 33 years and then worked more recently for Saddle Creek Logistics.
Preceded in death by parents William and Genevieve Zile, daughter Jessica Zile, and brother Bill Zile. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Belinda, daughters Tiffany Brunson (Chris), Amy Bartmess (Mike), son Jeffrey Zile (Lindsay), 8 grandchildren, Tyler, Makayla, Brenden, Brantley, Ryder, River, Maisyn, and Owen, brother Rick Parker, Sister Diane Knoll, stepsister Suzy Parker, 3 sisters-in-law Suzann Altman (Richard), Karen Harlow, and Evelyn Gray, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends that became like family. He loved each one deeply.
John will be remembered as a kindhearted and loving man. He loved to play cards and playing jokes on people as well as taking it in stride when he was the victim of a prank. His favorite thing to do was to be with family and having them over so that he could be the head chef at his cookouts. He also loved going to the mountains and the beach. John will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
On Saturday, September 4 th , at 11:00 a.m., a Celebration of Life will be held for family at Westside Family Worship Center 9717 103 rd St. Jacksonville, Florida. Due to the spread of Covid, any others who would like to join the celebration, we invite you to attend by a Video link that will be posted later, on this page.
John’s final resting place will be at Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
