John E. Lewis

John E Lewis, Sr., aged 74, of Westwego, LA passed away on August 18, 2024. He was born outside of New Orleans on March 5, 1950, a loving son to the late Katie (nee Blanchard) and Walter J. Dominique, Sr. John was a retired Senior Chief, serving in the United States Navy from 1970-1993 through Vietnam and spending many months in open waters. Describing these as the best years of his life. Johnny enjoyed his motorcycle and put thousands of miles on his bike, visiting friends and family along the way. He was also a proud member of the Red Knights MC beginning in 2002. Johnny is survived by his children, John E. Lewis Jr. (Karey) of Middleburg FL, Brandon Kyle Lewis of Richmond VA and Marissa Lewis Binck (Matt) of Montpelier VA. Proud Papa to Cayden and Cullen Lewis, Ava Lewis and Colbie and Riley Binck. Dear brother to Walter (Anita) Dominique Jr., Frances (Eugene) Edler, Leonard (Shani) Dominique, Ann Ferg and predeceased by brother Clarence (Jackie) Lewis. Along with countless nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be no service per his wishes.
