Joan Marie Pattison

On Friday, January 29, 2021, Joan Marie Pattison, loving mother grandmother and sister passed away at the age of 64.  Joan was born on February 10, 1956 in Jacksonville, FL to Roy and Lois Pattison where she grew up with her parents along with her sister and brother, Ruth and Joe. She attended St. Paul’s School in elementary years but graduated high school from Bishop Kenny in 1974.  Joan was a dedicated loving mother and raised her son, Jason Cagle, in Jacksonville, FL.

She worked hard but knew how to have a good time, whether it was floating down the river with friends and family or going off on a cruise or a road-trip with her girlfriends. She had a great sense of humor, and had an infectious, beautiful smile. Joan was a loyal Gator and Jaguar fan and a conservatist, volunteering many years of her life to Greenscape or a Master Gardener for UF. She lived an exemplary life, full of love, and was always sure to tell friends and family that she loved them.
Joan is survived by her son Jason Cagle, her brother Dr. Joseph Pattison, her daughter-in-law Ali, her two grandchildren Bronze and Phoebe and her niece and nephew Hannah and Grant.

In light of Covid, there will be a celebration of her life in the future.
In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Sea Turtle Conservancy.
