Jeffrey Michael Francis Hampton

Jeffrey Michael Francis Hampton, 52, of Jacksonville, FL passed away October 31, 2019. He was born to James Clayton Hampton and Joan O’Neil Michael on April 28, 1967 in Sterling, CO. He attended Orange Park High school in Orange Park, FL. Most of his adult life he owned his own businesses (restaurant, painting and pressure washing). He has also laid groundwork for fire sprinkler systems and worked as bookkeeper for Joan Michael CPA. He is married to Robin Merchant Hampton. His hobbies included coaching baseball (which he loved more than anything), playing pool, riding motorcycles and singing Karaoke. Jeffrey will be most remembered for being a loving father to Josh. He was most proud of his son and the young man he’s become.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his stepfather, Paul Michael Sr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Robin Hampton; son, Josh Cagle; mother, Joan Michael; father, Jim Hampton (Janice); sisters, Haley Glisson, Carolyn Brabrand, Marsha Skiles, and Kim Brown; and brothers, Jim Hampton, Paul Michael Jr, Steve Milligan and Greg Milligan. Jeff and Robin were expecting their first grandchild by Robin's daughter Meghan Collins and was super excited.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, November 9, 2019 at The Church at Argyle, 6823 Argyle Forest Blvd, Jacksonville, Fl 32244.
