Jayne Seale Donalson, Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on December 20th 2023.
Born to James W. Seale and Denise M. Seale, June 8, 1942 in Beaumont, Texas
Jayne graduated from the University of Texas in 1964 where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She later earned a Master's Degree from the University of North Florida in Guidance and Counseling. She worked for the Clay County School Board system as an educator and guidance counselor at Orange Park Junior High School until her retirement. She was an exemplary and active member of Orange Park Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder and secretary for many years.
She was an avid Bridge player, a volunteer at the St. Josephs Coat Closet and Food Pantry, loved reading and meeting with her book club and supper club.
She will always be remembered as a very loving, devoted and very proud Mimi to her three grandchildren Garrett Stanley and Lauren and Anna Donalson. They will always remember her for her saying “Hook’ em Horns”!
Survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Stanley and her husband, Trent Stanley, and grandson Garrett Stanley; her son, Stephen Donalson and his wife, Cindy and two granddaughters Lauren and Anna Donalson and her brother James Seale and wife Joan Seale.
A service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., at Orange Park Presbyterian Church and officiated by Pastor Sandra Hendrick.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Lyme Foundation at Lyme.org in honor of her Granddaughter Anna Jayne’s fight with chronic Lyme disease.
