Jackie Lynn Price Hoffman

Jackie Lynn Price Hoffman, 64, passed away in Baptist South Hospice October 13, 2022. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on March 7, 1958 to Vance and Eleanor “Tots” Price. She has two sons, Christopher Scott Hoffman and Luke Tyler Hoffman. Jackie was the oldest of four children. She is survived by her parents and sister, Judy Price; brothers, Vance Price, Jr; and Bobby Price. Bobby has a daughter, Nika Price.

Jackie graduated from Wolfson High School in 1976. She worked at a Veterinarian Hospital for years before she started her family. Jackie was Baptist. Her husband is Gregory Scott Hoffman.

Jackie was known by many for her love of animals. She raised raccoons, deer and anything that needed her help.

People called her when they found creatures that were injured or just needed care. They were never kept in a pen—she believed they should be in their natural habitat but they always came back to her.

There will be a graveside service at Gravely Hill, a private family cemetery, off Normandy Blvd., on October 29 at 1:00.
