Helen Pittman (better known as Nana) of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away 12/13/2020. She was 71 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles B. Pittman Jr. They were happily married for 49 years.
She is survived by her two sons, Tony E. Pittman (Dawn) and Terry D. Pittman (Katherine) of St Augustine, Florida; and four grandchildren that she absolutely adored. Her hobbies included doing word searches, clipping recipes, playing the Lotto, and spending time with her grandchildren, especially their trips to Longhorn and the bookstore.
She was one of the sweetest people you could ever meet and left a wonderful impression on anyone who was lucky enough to know her. We are also certain that when she got to the pearly gates, Peter said “I wasn’t expecting you until tomorrow”. Of which she responded “I know. I don’t like to be late.”
Services for immediate family will be held on December 29 th at 10:00am at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Hospice of Northeast Florida.
