Harley Ray Lamoureux passed away on November 17, 2020. He was born to Lucien Francois Lamoureux and Edyth Henry Lamoureux on September 13, 1952. He was a Blues Hall Of Fame Professionsal Harmonica Player, having shared stages with Charlie Daniels, Lynyrd Skynnyrd, The Allman Brothers, 38 Special and many more world class musicians. He was a member of the North Jacksonville Baptist Church and the Gospel Express Ministries South, an organization which sends missionary chaplains into the Florida Prisons. Since 2015, He was the president of The Gift Goes On, Inc., a prison ministry organization. He and his wife hosted worship services, classes and concerts in prisons from one end Florida to the other.

He was preceded in death by Lucien Francois Lamoureux (Father), Edyth Henry Lamoureux (Mother), Lucien Francois Lamoureux Jr. (Brother), David Roy Lamoureux (Brother).
He is survived by Carolyn Russell Lamoureux (Wife), Jason Dylan Lamoureux (Son), Dylan and Evan Lamoureux (Grandsons), James Lamoureux (Brother), El Lamoureux and a great number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, all of Jacksonville, Florida, and bonus son, SMSGT John G. Garrett IV of Warner Robins, GA.
A private memorial service will be held at North Jacksonville Baptist Church on February 23, 2021 for immediate and extended family. The service will also be broadcast on the zoom conference network and then after the service, it will be posted on you tube. An open celebration of life will be held later in the spring, sponsored by the music community.
