Hansell Theodore "Ted" Jeffers, Jr.

Hansell Theodore "Ted" Jeffers, Jr., went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2023 at Community Hospice in Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital.  He was a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida, born March 14, 1940.  Ted graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, attended the University of Florida, and graduated from Jacksonville University and University of North Florida, becoming a CPA.  He was preceded in death by his parents Hansell Theodore Jeffers and Melanie Young Jeffers, and his brother-in-law Ray Herbert.  He is survived by his sister Connie Herbert, niece Lynn (Shawn) Carsten, nephew Jeff (Stacia) Herbert, and great-nieces and great-nephews Sydney Carsten, Will Carsten, Phoebe Herbert and Isaac Herbert, all of whom he considered "his" family.  Ted's passions throughout life were his love of classical music and the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, together with his deep Christian faith.

A committal service will be held at a later date in the Bishop's Garden of St. John's Cathedral in Jacksonville.
