Forrest Alan Tucker, 65, of Jacksonville, Florida went home on Wednesday, Nov. 02, 2022 after a 3 year battle with cancer. Forrest, called "Woody" by some, "Crash" by his bulldogging friends and "Fartest" by his "step-sister" Alice Anne, was born Dec. 08, 1956 at NAS Hospital in what was then Yukon, Florida. He was preceded in death by his Father Royster "Rick" Tucker, Mother Mary Medlin Chellette, and his brother Jason Tucker. He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Clute-Tucker, stepchildren: Falon Phelps (Jonathan), Sandra Everett and Tyler Everett, and stepmother, Cindy Tucker. His sisters, Susan Bragg (Johnny) and Boo Flournoy, brother Barry Tucker (Cheryl), and 1 step-grandchild, Liam Phelps. Nieces and nephews, as well as many extended family members and friends. Forrest owned and operated a HVAC company for many years, a trade he learned from his stepfather, Lee Chellette. He steer-wrestled, where he earned the name "Crash", team roped, and showed Western Pleasure in his younger years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and in the last few years, showing his sister's horse, HomeRunStats in Halter.
