Everett B Hartley, Jr.

August 25, 1953 — September 12, 2022

Everett passed from this life on September 12, 2022 at the ge of 69.  He was born to Everett B Hartley Sr and Gertie Mae Anderson Hartley in Mandarin Florida.  He was a lifelong resident of Florida with exception to his military service in the US Army.  He attended St Joseph's Catholic, duPont Jr High and Wolfson High schools
Everett enjoyed baseball, motorcycles, fast cars and hunting in his younger years.  He was an avid Nascar fan, never missing a televised race.  He also played the drums and had opportunity to practice with Lynyrd Skynyrd on occcasion when they were starting up in Mandarin.  He was a heavy equipment operator but mostly loved his dump truck.
He is survived by his beautiful partner of 17 years Donna Brown; sister LaDonna Hartley; brother Johnny Hartley; two daughters Sheila Hartley and Sherri Wimbley; Brother in law Charles Barratta; 5 grandchildren Darren, Christian, Shauna, Heather and Breanna; six great grandchildren Mateo, Karter, Tonya, Kolton, Waylon and Braylon; Stepmother Dorothy Hartley; stepsisters Diane and Denise; stepbrother David; mother of his two daughters Ellen Hartley;  an Uncle Ellis Morgan (Laverne); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Geraldine (Jeri) Barratta and brother David Anderson Hartley; Niece Angela Welniak
The family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
