Eddie Thomas Strickland, Jr.

Our beloved Eddie Thomas Strickland, Jr., 41, unexpectedly passed away in Jacksonville, FL on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018.

He was born in Columbus, GA on Oct 08,1977 to Patsy Dolores (Thrift) Kirkland and Eddie Thomas Strickland, Sr. He was preceded in death by his Dad, Joseph C. Kirkland.

Survivors include his mother Patsy, father Eddie, son Jacob, grandson Brantley, sisters Krystelle and Heather, brothers Joe, Sean, and Jeremy, brother-in-law Darian, wife Misty, stepsons Jordan and Jayden, several nieces and nephews as well as a wide array of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close family friends.

Eddie was a hard worker, always striving for perfection. He loved passionately and was deeply committed to his family and friends with all that he was. He wore his heart on his sleeve, but often tucked it away under a tough exterior. His eclectic, quirky, and unique sense of humor would brighten any person's day. He would always leave a lasting impression with a story to tell. If blessed by one of his superhero-league hugs, then you know the enduring intensity of his love for you. Eddie will be missed but never forgotten.

A Celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday Jan. 5 ^th at 2055 Derham Rd, Jacksonville FL 32246.
