Diane, graduated from West High School in Columbus, Ohio in 1958. After raising her children, she worked as a Service Representative for Ohio Bell Telephone Company. She transferred to Bellsouth in Jacksonville in 1977, was promoted to Marketing Manager and subsequently retired in 1991.
In 1998 she reunited with her high school sweetheart Barney. They married in 2002. She loved to travel, so together they decided to complete their circuit of all 50 of the United States. By mainly camping in an old Ford van, they completed that goal in 2006 with many fond memories.

Diane loved to play sports, card games and board games. Since high school she has kept in contact with her group of close friends known as the Ya-Yas. Over the years and the distant miles, they have loved one another and maintained a very close and loving relationship.
In Jacksonville Diane played a lot of both tennis and golf. She is a former President of the Ladies Golf Association at Hidden Hills Country Club. A highlight of her golfing career was making a hole-in-one at The Palencia Club and winning 25 cents from Barney.
She loved to play Euchre, Bunco and Sequence. She so loved her many friends here on Masters Ridge where she lived. She was always ready for a party. Diane had a smile and personality that would light up a room. She is so missed.
